My research interests lie at the intersection of politics, international relations, criminology and policing with a primary focus on community-based counterterrorism and countering violent extremism. I am intrigued by the complexities of counterterrorism strategies, conflict resolution, and the role of NGOs in promoting peace and stability. Additionally, I am deeply passionate about exploring the dynamics of ethnic conflicts, policing, peacekeeping efforts, and the politics of various regions, including Spanish politics. I also occasionally delve into the complexities of teaching pedagogy and student led assessment methods.
